Artist Bio
A native of Kansas City, Jenny Hahn received her BFA in illustration from the Kansas City Art Institute and is currently a resident artist at the Arts Incubator, a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing emerging artists, as well as a senior multi-media artist at the world headquarters of a nonprofit spiritual organization. Her paintings have shown in galleries and other venues nationally.
For the last 5 years Jenny has facilitated a painting-for-process class—Breathing Color Studio—teaching painting to non-artists as a tool for mindfulness and self-discovery.
Working mostly in acrylic, Jenny conveys a unique spiritual quality through bold, colorful expression—whether figuratively or abstractly. She finds inspiration in nature, color, meditation, yoga, biology and sacred geometry. Viewers often comment on the happiness and peace of mind the work brings them.
